Xiaomi continues its strategy of reintroducing smartphones with minor updates under new names. The latest addition to this lineup is Redmi Note 13R an affordable mid-range device that closely resembles its predecessor, Redmi Note 12R. Only smartphone enthusiasts might notice the minor changes in the camera lens and LED flash design.
The Smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and measure a 6.79-inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and crisp visual experience. On the back, the phone boasts a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP macro camera, while the front-facing camera has been upgraded to an 8 MP sensor from the 5 MP sensor in the previous model.
The device is equipped with a 5,030 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, ensuring ample power and quick recharge times. Out of the box, the Redmi Note 13R runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS. It is available in three colors: Blue, Silver, and Black, and offers five different memory configurations to suit various user needs.
Redmi Note 13R offers a range of options to suit different budgets and storage needs of consumer. The most affordable version with 6GB RAM / 128GB storage, is priced at CNY 1,399 (approximately $195 or €180) and For those who requires more storage and memory, the highest-end model with 12GB RAM / 512GB storage is available for CNY 2,199 (approximately $305 or €280). Currently, Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R is exclusively available in China.
